83 The Quay is a terraced two-bay, four-storey building, built in 1905, which has retained its original architecture with shopfront to ground floor. The buildings feature a pitched slate roof with clay ridge tiles, rendered chimney stack, and cast-iron rainwater goods on moulded rendered eaves.
Suirside Construction Ltd completed conservation works on the building in 2019.
Working with Fewer Harrington & Partners, Suirside Construction Ltd completed the associated works on the building.
The project included renovation works of the existing building to accommodate a retail shop on the bottom floor leading onto the Quay.
Also included was the renovation of three apartments on the remaining floors.
Works were completed in 2019.
