Bausch + Lomb employs over 1,000 people in Waterford, where it’s had a manufacturing facility since the 80s. The factory includes contact lenses and pharmaceutical manufacturing, research and development and surgical support.
During 2016, the facility is being expanded to 500,000 square feet in a €115 million investment programme.

Suirside Construction Ltd have five staff currently on-site for the last 3-4 years during our on-going projects at the company’s Waterford facility.
Our work in Bausch + Lomb has so far consisted of office fitouts, work on the factory floor in a cleanroom environment and roofing works.
These projects have been completed while working in conjunction with Weltec Engineering and Suir Engineering, with high Health & Safety standards at the forefront of our work.
