Curragh Girls National School was built in 1962 and consists of a large assembly hall. The school building has 10 classrooms, a large lunchroom, sports equipment room, and other facility rooms including a fully equipped IT room.
Working together with Coughlan and Associates architects, Suirside Construction Ltd completed a full roofing project at the school.
The project consisted of re-roofing the existing school roof, which had deteriorated and was in need of refurbishment, using tile effect sheeting.
A new flat roof membrane was also fitted; all while the school remained fully operational. An extensive mechanical and electrical system was fitted throughout the school to improve heating.
All Suirside Construction Ltd staff were Garda vetted to ensure the safety of the students.
