St. Laserian's School Carlow

Suirside Construction LTD are thrilled to have been awarded St.Laserian’s School in Carlow.

St.Laserian’s Special School is a mixed school which caters for students aged 4-18. The students present with learning difficulties in the range of Mild, Moderate, Severe, and Profound General Learning Disability. Some students will present with multiple disabilities.

St.Laserian’s School is situated on a large site on the Old Dublin Road in Carlow town, within walking distance of the town centre and the railway station.

The catchment area for St.Laserian’s is approximately within 25-30 mile radius of the school, encompassing Carlow Town and County and areas of Laois, Kildare, Wexford, and Wicklow. Students are drawn from the HSE areas in these counties, which impacts on the provision of services and supports for the school.

The project involves the Energy Efficiency upgrade of St.Laserian’s School, which will include insulation on the pitched roofs, pump the cavity walls with bonded bead insulation, fit double glazed windows & doors and apply external wall insulation along with much more to upgrade St.Laserian’s School to Energy Effiency
