Rockville House on Newtown Road in Waterford City is a detached three-bay two-storey over basement house with dormer attic built around 1800.
It’s original build consists of a single-bay single-storey flat-roofed advanced Doric porch to centre, and five-bay two-storey side elevations to north-east and to south-west.
Suirside Construction Ltd, working with architects Fewer Harrington & Associates, completed conservation and fitout work on the listed building.
The conservation work was carried out throughout the building, while also carrying out structural works on the roof within Waterford’s conservational officer’s guidelines.
Our team also completed a full mechanical and electrical installation to bring the building up to the current regulations.
All joinery and conservation work was carried out by our own in-house joinery team.
The project was completed in 2018.
